After earning promotion to the West Midlands Women's Regional, Division One North the Ladies look to add to their numbers

After achieving an unbeaten season in the Birmingham County Womens Prem Division before it was yet again curtailed through COVID and winning the Birmingham County Womens COVID Cup without losing a game in the group stages, Manager Scott McKee and his team are now on a recruitment drive after being promoted to the West Midlands Women's Regional, Division One North.

The team was formed two seasons ago under Darlaston Town 1874 Ladies name after leaving Sedgley & Gornal with the majority of the squad. The Ladies have missed out on further trophies over the past two seasons, as they were in with a great change of winning both League titles, but both seasons were ended early due to COVID.

With the approaching season, Darlaston Ladies are looking to recruit players to their already successful squad as they look to add more strength to the team

Manager Scott McKee is looking to add to his team by recruiting an Assistant Manager/Coach. Anyone interested should have the following

At least Level 1 but preferably Level 2 coaching qualifications
Experience in women's football

Any players interested
Must be over 16
Have a good previous history of clubs (at any level)
Must be easy going, willing to work hard to achieve results personally and for the team

Training dates preseason/open sessions: Start Sunday 18th July, 2 pm to 3.30 pm at Kings Hill Park Darlaston, Wednesbury, WS10 9JF

Anyone interested in playing or applying for the coaching position should contact Scott McKee on 07809636160 or email the club by using general@darlastontown1874fc.com
