Cup games under lights at The Paycare Stadium at so very special, last night 262 people saw an outstanding Darlaston performance built on hard work, a brilliant team ethic of working tirelessly for each other, along with clinical finishing from substitute Kieran Cook 5 minutes after coming on, and a fantastic 20-yard curing effort for Aaron Bishop that beat the flying Curtis Pond Chasetown’s keeper.

Thing do not get easier for Darlaston, next up is in form Long Eaton United, who are third in the league and defiantly the form team, but that is only the first game in an intense run of four, three on the road against Long Eaton, fourth placed Worcester City (25th March), and Anstey Nomads who are fifth (1st April). The only home game is the visit of league leaders Quorn (29th March)
