Darlaston return to the Paycare Stadium tomorrow afternoon to welcome Northwest Counties side Market Drayton Town

Both teams are unbeaten in their pre-season games so far, so a good competitive game is anticipated

Darlaston Town return to the pike Estádio for the final 54 preseason friendlies starting this Saturday against relegated market. Drayton town have been moved laterally by the FA into the Northwest Counties League Division One south where they will be playing their football next season.

Darlaston have made a great start to the preseason campaign winning all three games, so have Market Drayton who under the guidance of manager Adam Shillcock who made such an impact following his appointment at the back end of last season. Adam will have recruited his own squad over the close season. He has clearly recruited well as the results suggest starting their pre-season campaign with a 3-1 win over AFC Bridgnorth followed by resounding 5-0 win at CPD Guilsfield. On Tuesday evening another away trio to Morda United produced a 2-1 win.

Darlaston meanwhile after their third big win of the season on Wednesday at AFC Bridgnorth Manager, Dean Gill yesterday move swiftly adding ex Coventry City and Romulus left back Ronee Hendricks to his squad who impressed in the games so far. There still remains some trialists who will no doubt play some part in tomorrow’s game as they look for a place in Darlaston’s squad for the start of the season.

It will be usual service at the Paycare Ground tomorrow, gates open at 1 pm hot and cold food will be on sale pre-match in the bar.

The match kicks off at 3 pm
Entrance is £5 adults £3 concessions.

We hope to see as many familiar faces as possible for tomorrow and Tuesday night’s game with MFL Division One side Stapenhill.
