On a day when things could have gone really badly after a bad start when the team coach turned up more than 40 minutes late, delaying Darlaston’s arrival at Rushden until 2.15 pm, thanks to the players and management teams focus the delay played no part in anyone’s performance, on a very wet and difficult pitch Darlaston once again produced another excellent performance and received their reward late on with the winner.
