Darlaston welcome back a player from last season, who had such an impact at an important time.

Darlaston Town 1874 are delighted to welcome back from Wolverhampton Sporting Isaac Cooper.

Isaac left the club earlier on in the season to play for Sporting’s new manager Francino Francis, who he has played with before at Hednesford Town and other clubs.

At the beginning of the season Isaac was suffering from an injury, which meant the Darlaston fans never saw the Isaac from the season before, because the injury defiantly affected his movement and mobility.

Isaac made his second debut for the club last night in a 4-3 win at Shawbury United, and once again had an important part to play, setting up two goals and scoring the fourth from the penalty spot after Aiden Blackham had been felled.

Andy Parkes said yesterday before the game “We are delighted to welcome Isaac back to the club, we are very lucky to have a player with his ability in our ranks, a player that played, contributed and scored at step 3 last season. He brings a quality and creativity to the team, someone who is difficult to play against. Whilst I acknowledge we certainly didn’t see Isaac’s best at the beginning of last season, judging by last nights performance he is well on his way of being back to his best”.

Darlaston also look set to lose the services of Adam Cole, as the club have received a 7-day approach from his previous club FC Darlaston, and Adam looks set to become part of Mark Swann’s squad. On behalf of the club, we would like to thank Adam for all his efforts and wish him the very best for the future.
