It would have been easy to have an inferiority complex yesterday and all credit to my players who valued themselves enough to go with a positive attitude when I would have been slightly more conservative.

We’ve had seasons when we’ve been extremely grateful to just be in such games, earn a few bob and get our bellies tickled. We’ve earned the right the last ten years to eventually go in our own right and yesterday I believe we did that.

I’ve listened to their management’s view that their players were all off it, pointing to the fact we’ve probably already missed our chance but we will prepare the next 72 hours and give it our best again.

Hopefully, Wednesday we can get a great non league local turn out to support the boys.
