West Midlands (Regional) League Secretary Neil Juggins this afternoon has confirmed the League will operate as usual next season

The West Midlands (Regional) League (WMRL) has this afternoon informed clubs that they will continue as normal next season operating Divisions at Step 6 (Premier), Step 7 (Division One) and Step 8 (Division Two) of the National League Structure.

This after the FA stripped the WMRL of their Step 6 league late last year as part of the National League Structure re-organisation.

Following yesterdays announcement by the FA that the 2019-20 season was to be expunged from the records the proposed changes to the structure with four clubs being promoted from the Premier Division into the new Step 5 structure which contained two more leagues nationally were deferred until the start of the 2021/22 season.

Part of an email sent to all WMRL clubs this afternoon from League Secretary Neil Juggins said: "I would just like to clarify that the West Midlands (Regional) League will be operating as usual next season (Premier Division, Step 6 Division One, Step 7 and Division Two, Step 8) as all the NLS changes have been put back until Season 2021/22."
