Following promotion from Step 5 the club had to make significant improvements at The Paycare Stadium to meet the Step 4 ground criteria

We are delighted to announce that following a visit by the FA's Stadium Accreditation Programme Assessor we have received confirmation that we ground has achieved Step 4 accreditation.

This is a significant achievement as if we had not achieved accreditation we may have been relegated.

Following promotion from Step 5 the club had to make significant improvements at The Paycare Stadium to meet the Step 4 ground criteria. These included adding a new 50 seat stand, increasing covered terracing to accommodate 150 spectators, infilling nearly 300 metres of post and rail, creating a separate hospitality area for 24 people, adding a press table for two press members, introducing outside toilets, increasing the size of the dressing rooms, attaching 100 metres of privacy screening to our fencing and adding two turnstiles.

With the help of a Premier League Stadium Fund grant and Bellway Homes generous donation of a new toilet block, the improvements are in the region of £75,000, including more than £20,000 of its own funds.

Chairman Neil Chambers said "We are absolutely delighted with the award. The consequences of not achieving the standard could have been catastrophic including relegation. Bellway Homes have been magnificent donating a high quality outside toilet block whilst we could not have done it without a Premier League Stadium Fund grant. The total cost is close to £75,000 with the cost to the club exceeding £20,000. Costs have been kept down with much of the work being done by our wonderful volunteers and supporters. There has been a great atmosphere amongst the volunteers and supporters to get the work finished and I am immensely proud of what they and the club have achieved

The FA have issued the club with the following certificate
